Certane has confirmed its appointment as trustee for holders of Australian Unity Limited (ASX: AYU) (Australian Unity) simple corporate bonds ~ Series E – Tranche 1 (Bonds) 2023. The Bonds will pay a floating rate interest, are unsubordinated and unsecured. Australian Unity is seeking to raise $180 million with the ability to raise more or less, subject to a minimum issue of $50 million.

As the trustee for the Bonds, Certane is appointed under the Corporations Act to act on behalf of holders to ensure the issuer (Australian Unity) can meet its obligations.
