Corporate Trust team

Yvonne has over 21 years’ experience in the financial services industry including 19 years’ providing corporate trustee, custody and administration services to the equity and debt capital markets. Yvonne has extensive experience across a variety of products and asset classes.

Prior to Yvonne being appointed as Head of Corporate Trust in May 2018, she led the Relationship & Transaction Management Team, responsible for client relationships, implementing new business and deal negotiation.

Yvonne’s experience has been gained at organisations including State Street and Westpac Institutional Bank.

Rebecca has had over 10 years’ experience in financial services across managed funds, superannuation, fintech, and equity capital markets. Rebecca joined Certane in 2019 as Senior Legal Counsel.

Prior to Certane, Rebecca was part of the Corporate M&A/Managed Funds at King & Wood Mallesons, and has also held a senior in-house legal role, gaining valuable experience in the management of internal legal and compliance functions.

Vincent has over 20 years experience in banking, strategy consulting and corporate trust businesses in France, Hong Kong and Australia.

Vincent joined Certane in April 2019 as Senior Manager, Client Services. Prior to Certane, Vincent worked for 12 years at Perpetual Corporate Trust as Senior Manager, Trustee and Custody. In this role, Vincent gained extensive experience in private equity, property and various other asset classes.

At Certane, Vincent manages the team responsible for building and maintaining client relationships.

Leanne is a CPA qualified accountant with over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry which includes 15 years providing finance partnership support to corporate trust.

Leanne manages the corporate trust finance team which is comprised of a mix of qualified and part qualified accountants and assistant accountants.

Leanne’s experience has been gained at organisations including Commonwealth Bank, AMP and IOOF.

Jo has over 19 years’ experience in the provision of trustee and custody services to corporate clients. She joined Tower Trust in 2004 which, as a result of a series of acquisitions is today Certane CT. Jo leads the Product and Services team and is accountable for operations, business improvement and project management. Jo also works closely with our clients to determine the best client servicing model to meet their needs.

Prior to joining Certane, Jo worked in the property custody team at Guardian Trust and JP Morgan Trust Australia.

Michael has over 15 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry, primarily within institutional sales and relationship management roles across superannuation, funds management and corporate banking.

Michael’s primary focus is in the equities space providing corporate trustee services across multiple asset classes.

Prior to joining Certane, he was responsible for the distribution and transition of CBA’s Corporate Superannuation products across institutional and business banking customers.

Michael’s experience has been gained at organisations including Colonial First State and NAB/MLC.

Rose has over 20 years’ experience in the corporate trust industry including client servicing and account management in custody and operations.

Her primary focus is to manage the governance of the operations team and service provider relationships. Prior to joining AET in 2006, Rose worked at Guardian Trust and JP Morgan Trust Australia in operational services.

Evan brings over 30 years of experience in debt capital markets including securitisation and structured finance to Certane CT.

Evan has previously held senior management roles at Permanent/Trust Co and BNY Mellon. More recently he was a Senior Client Service Manager in Perpetual Corporate Trusts in the Debt Capital Markets team and was involved in the successful launch of Perpetual’s RBA reporting platform.

At Certane CT, Evan is responsible for structured finance and securitisation clients with a focus primarily on growing new business and maintaining good working relationships with clients.

Georgina has over 20 years experience in Treasury and Debt Capital Markets. She has held senior roles held at Cuscal Limited, where she was instrumental in establishing funding and securitisation structures to support the liquidity of Cuscal’s own balance sheet and those of Cuscal’s ADI mutual bank clients.

Her earlier experience was gained at Westpac, where she traded and priced interest rate derivatives for the bank’s wholesale clients.

Pina Spathis has over 32 years’ experience in the financial services industry including providing corporate trustee, custody and administration services. Pina has extensive experience across a variety of products and asset classes.

Pina is currently responsible for building and managing client relationships with private equity, venture capital, equity, retirement villages, funeral funds and share plan clients.

Pina’s previous positions include account manager, fund accountant, compliance manager, office manager, assistant operations manager and company secretary.

Pina previously worked with Permanent Trustee, Burns Philip and BT.

Vadim has over 14 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry and currently manages the property and credit fund portfolios within the Certane CT business.

In this role, Vadim is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, service providers and key industry contacts.

Prior to joining Certane CT Vadim worked at Deutsche Bank, Commonwealth Bank and Macquarie Bank, specialising in investment banking operations and corporate asset finance.

Kerry has over 15 year’s experience in financial services, responsible for building and maintaining client relationships and the provision of trustee and custody services to funds, trusts and companies. Prior to joining Certane CT (formerly AET Corporate Trust), Kerry worked at Link Market Services Limited and Macquarie Bank specialising in treasury operations and WRAP services. Kerry has a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Science.
